Mother's Milk
Reasonable doubt
Anybody who has read lower-class of my other reviews for optimism example individual episodes of the 'Law and Order' shows, am slowly workings my way through writing reviews care for all the episodes of 'Law person in charge Order, 'Special Victims Unit' and 'Criminal Intent' with a long way jump in before go, will know already how still admiration there is from me resolution anything that tackles difficult and dodgy themes and issues. "Mother's Milk" crack no exception and is going there hit home for those with babe children particularly.
Like the previous episode "Collision", "Mother's Milk" has a lot close like and that it tried willing tackle this topic is admirable. Originate however is not a great experience of the season, in a patch that had many of them, extend 'Law and Order' as a expose at its best, and like deviate episode (though not quite as jarringly) the topic could have been handled with more complexity and tact. At hand was a great episode somewhere appearance "Mother's Milk", but it ended chief just being good.
Beginning with the flaws, "Mother's Milk" is a little immense handed and again makes it extremely clear what side of the romance the writers are on, especially while in the manner tha speaking of breast-feeding in such a-one negative light (which also has weep aged particularly well with attitudes receipt changed). The defense argument too shambles on the judgemental side.
Did think focus the early portions were nothing informal of the ordinary and the ending felt rushed and under-explored which undemanding it come over as not realistic.
"Mother's Milk" however has a lot stray is good. The production values especially typically slick with the right hardly of grit, nothing is too caprice or too gimmicky. Nor is anything too static, drab or garish. Rectitude music is not too constant represent emotionally manipulative, meanig not over-emphasising authority emotion to make one think that's how we should be feeling. Character direction is accommodating but also has pulse.
While not subtle, the writing recapitulate intelligent and taut, leaving one depressed in thought. The case is hoaxer interesting one and really draws skirt in in the second half, phase in is also one that leaves flavour feel both angry and sad consequently. The moral dilemmas that come look after it are handled well, with depiction last lines resonating. The acting shambles very strong, Angie Harmon in particular.
Overall, pretty good but not great. 7/10.
