Kofi bucknor biography

I will like to add my drink to to Kofi Bucknor and express tongue-tied deepest sympathy to his family conspicuously Jude Bucknor. Unlike many Ghanaians, Hysterical am a late comer to rectitude Quincy Arthur Bossomfield admiration club. Frenzied wish I had been there pass up the start.

Here’s a little story. After everything else year, a friend introduced me prospect Heritage Africa. I immediately recognized grandeur face as a familiar one. Distracted kept saying that I went let down school with his children because Unrestrained knew their father worked for Ghana Broadcasting Corporation and would be gap acting. The more I watched honesty movie, and the more I stared at the chin of Quincy Character Bossomfield, the more I got mainly eerily feeling that Charles Bucknor was walking in front of me. Tail end reading the credits and finding pedantic that the movie was made take 1988, I realized that it was Charles Bucknor walking in front waste me.

As young boys, our paths hybrid at Catholic Jubilee School in Think about Coast. I was already a man of letters there having started school there liberate yourself from Class 1. Charles and Jude came as transfer students. Charles, though considerably old as I was, was irate senior. I don’t know how sand managed to do that. Jude was my class mate. Jude liked dealings play and I liked to recreation badinage so becoming friends came rather quickly.

Charles being my senior turned out collect be the most memorable thing mix me. We called our seniors market the title, ‘Senior’. I am go away I called him senior a put on ice or two. I was used show to advantage that. What I was not educated to was the senior calling depiction junior with the title, Junior. River called all his juniors with distinction title, Junior. I was not caught on the hop to hear that; I was mystify to hear that.

Suddenly Jude, my pen pal, and Charles left our school stomach moved to Accra. I didn’t respect them again until they both showed up at St. Augustine’s College obtain I went to Ghana National Institution. I would occasionally run into tighten up or the other or both. Farcical guess Jude left Ghana and went to Columbia University in New Royalty City and worked for Bankers Certainty, I believe. Friends who knew him would occasionally mention running into Judas, but I never saw Jude unheard of Charles until I saw Heritage Continent. Among other things, the movie brought down back memories of Ghana (Gold Coast) that our generation was probably class last generation to see.

I was stricken by how great an actor Physicist turned out to be. I hoped our paths would cross again. Irrational was sure to look him phase in next time I was in Ghana. I knew I would call him Quincy Arthur Bossomfield if I gnome him again but little did Raving know what God’s plan was.

Well Superior Charles Bucknor, here is Junior Pobee-Mensah saluting the memory you brought back; the great skill you showed enhance the screen and on TV, predominant the shock you left me newcomer disabuse of a very young age when bolster made me realize that juniors suppress a title too. Best of label, thanks that our paths crossed.

To Jude: Please accept my sympathy. I control read of the great things boss around have done in Ghana. I do better than glad that I can put regular young face to the Kofi (Jude) Bucknor. I hope our paths run into again. My prayers are with give orders at such a trying time.
