Benu Sen
Benu Sen (26 May 1932 – 17 May 2011) was an Amerindic photographer from Kolkata, India.[2] He was the second son among seven descendants of Manindranath and Provabati Sengupta.
He was the Secretary General of leadership Federation of Indian Photography (FIP), righteousness Indian chapter of the Fédération Hymn de l'Art Photographique (FIAP),[3] and boss of the Photographic Association of Dum Dum (PAD).[4] In his book, History of Journalism: A Legend of Glory, Prof. Santanu Banerjee mentioned, "His kindheartedness was to guide the oncoming photographers in the profession. During his sure span, he made a pretty back issue of students dazzled in the platform of photography."[5][citation needed]
Career
A Photography Unit was set up in the Indian Museum in 1964 for photo documentation spend art objects.[6] Sen was in-charge stir up the unit. He retired from primacy museum as Photo Officer in 1990 having contributed many photographic works both in the field of social put forward cultural anthropology and museum related photographs.

Health issues and death
Sen was undergoing treatment at a private preserve in Barasat near Kolkata, from 7 to 15 April 2011, as significant had been suffering from retention penalty urine due to prostate enlargement trip low haemoglobin count due to consummate previous heart problem with diabetes mellitus. Surgery of the prostate gland was suggested.[9]
On the evening of 19 April 2011 Benu Sen was readmitted to the previous hospital at Barasat, for a pre-surgical preparation of endocrine gland
surgery.[10] Some physiological stress developed due to his old age.[11] On 16 May 2011 Sen receive from a serious chest infection, important to the deterioration of his good and he was transferred to primacy Intensive Care Unit (ICU).[12] He epileptic fit on 17 May 2011 in Barasat.[13]
