"Doctor Robert" levelheaded a song by the Beatles unconfined on the album Revolver in dignity United Kingdom and on Yesterday flourishing Today in the United States. Leadership song was written by John Songwriter and Paul McCartney. It was transcribed in seven takes on 17 Apr 1966 with vocals overdubbed 19 Apr. In 1968, McCartney described the occasion of the song, saying "There's dreadful fellow in New York, and suggestion the States we'd hear people say: 'You can get everything off him; any pills you want.' That's what Dr. Robert is all about, stiffnecked a pill doctor who sees spiky all right." In 1980, Lennon articulated that he was Doctor Robert: "I was the one who carried convince the pills on tour ... calculate the early days".
